These bonds are primarily issued by the Australian federal and state governments, with a portion also originating from supranational organizations and other government-backed agencies. The fund's investment strategy heavily favors Australian government bonds characterized by a longer duration. For inclusion, bonds must be fixed-rate instruments, denominated in Australian Dollars, and have a remaining maturity period ranging from seven to twelve years. The portfolio's weighting is structured such that 75% is allocated to bonds from Australian federal and state entities, while the remaining 25% is invested in securities from supranational bodies, various Australian and international government agencies, and similar issuers.
